Do You Use an RSS Reader?
This article asks if RSS has a future as a source for content delivery or will social media provide a better alternative?
My own opinions regarding the supposed pending death of RSS aside, the article makes some interesting observations:
“…RSS is still the simplest way to consume information.”
Agreed. The article gets the wheels spinning when it makes the next few statements. If the satements below are true, how would your internet communications strategy change?
“To find breaking news, Twitter has become a better medium…”
“For discovering content, websites like StumbleUpon and Digg have become alternatives.”
