Freebie: Icon Template
Yesterday I needed to create a new Flickr icon for our row of social media links at hendersonhills.com. I decided to go ahead and create it in Illustrator so that I had a nice crisp vector when I needed it. I also created it in such a way that I can change what the icon is for pretty quickly.
I’m making the Illustrator (CS4) file available just in case any of you could find it useful.

My live streaming tool of choice got a rebrand and what a rebrand it is! “mogulus” never made sense to me. Hopefully with this new name in place, we’ll see more awesome come from these guys.
Prism: Bring web apps to your desktop →
Prism is an application that lets users split web applications out of their browser and run them directly on their desktop.Works for Mac, Linux and Windows. I’m not sure how usefull this will be to churches. It might work well for a basic kiosk. If you have any ideas, please share in the comments.

This article asks if RSS has a future as a source for content delivery or will social media provide a better alternative?
My own opinions regarding the supposed pending death of RSS aside, the article makes some interesting observations:
“…RSS is still the simplest way to consume information.”
